Happy Monday everyone. Here is my latest layout using a sketch from Creative Scrappers for my inspiration.
For this one, I chose the blue from the water and yellow from the little bumper boat.
I matted my photos in blue then white, then matted this onto yellow then white cardstock.
I attached this to some blue netting I found somewhere. I glued this onto my backing cardstock.
I used a scalloped ruler to cut out the yellow border, and a circle cutter to cut out all my circles.
For the largest circle I used a compass.
Then I used a Tim Holtz die for the title. Nice and simple and very easy, why not give it a go.
P.s. This is a great page for a layout on a small budget.  BFN

Morning lovely scrappers. I love pink and have entered this into a challenge over at Scrap That.
Ive also used the October sketch from Stuck on you Sketches.
Ive used Dovecraft patterned paper for the background, and some silver grey and pink Bazzill cardstock for the matts and borders. I used scalloped edge scissors and a large scallop edge ruler  template. I glued my photos and borders down and added some pink ric rak ribbon. I also used some dusty attic honeycomb chipboard. I hand made the banner using some sizzix dies and also die cut the hearts. I attached the banner with small grey brads and added some pink fibres to each one. I added flowers and punched out leaves and a hand made stick pin. I added a lovely prima butterfly and die cut the title using a sizzix die. And there you have it, a very pink page.

Happy Wednesday to you. Here is my layout using a sketch from Stuck on You Sketches Oct 12th for inspiration.
I also used the colours from the C.S.I Color Story Challenge Blog.
For this challenge I used all 5 colours from the colour scheme section , flowers and polka dots from the evidence section and from the testimony section I used the prompts from the freebies from the CSI site. Be the Best Version of You - Good things come in small packages and The best dreams happen when you are awake.
So this is how I did it.
I chose all my papers and colours then matted up my photo in white then rosy red.
I then chose three paper layers to go underneath and I distressed all the edges and inked them up.
I used scalloped scissores for the back aqua layer.
I then adhered this to my polka dot paper.
I  hand cut some roses from one of the freebie papers and glued these down.
I added a little fence that I painted white, which I thought mirrored the fence in the photo quite well.
I die cut the banners. I then added the lacy borders anda scalloped edge border.
I hand cut out the tea cup from some Websters paper. I added some flowers and pearls.
I cut out two pretty butterflies and added beads and antenea.
I cut out journaling prompt  freebies, glued these down and added a secret journaling block at the top.
I added one of my hand made stick pins and die cut the title.
And thats it, why not give it a go.

Morning all, here is a layout I have just finished using a sketch from sketchabilities for inspiration.
I chose the blues and peach from the photo and double matted my photos.
I then matted another blue onto my 12x12 peach backing card.
I chose a darker blue and cut it down to 10x10 and used a honeycomb mask and some texture paste to decorate and added a little white paint in the corners.
I adhered my photo onto this and added a small doily in one corner. I then made some banners and glued these down. I added the extra photos and a journaling block. I die cut some butterflies and punched out a couple of small branches. I added two small circles, one from Prima packaging. I then added the flowers and pearls and added a die cut title. I used blue stickles on the butterfly bodies.  Thats all for now, have a lovely week everyone. (See sketch below).

Morning lovely scrappers. My computor has been up the creek again, so I havnt been able to post for a while, but its seems a bit happier today. Here is my latest layout of Jessie having fun.
For this page I chose the blue from the water and kept it monochromatic, just adding white.
I matted my photo twice in two different blues. I double matted the background cardstock, and adhered this to my 12x12  blue card. I added a doily and die cut a tim holtz clock and added these. I painted the little wooden fence white and added this with some glue dots. I added a tim holtz die cut swirl in white, added some flowers with brads, punched out two little branches and sewed on a little blue button to one of the flowers. I die cut some small butterflies in white and added blue stickles to their bodies. I added the date onto the inner part of the clock die. I added some doily lace packaging from Prima and printed up the title, as well ad die cutting the word speed using a sizzix sizzlits alphabet die. And thats it. A nice easy page. I used a sketch for my inspiration from The Scrapbook Store. See below. Happy scrapping everyone. BFN

Hi everyone, here is my latest layout using a sketch from Scrap That  - October and an all white challenge at the Flying Unicorn for my inspiration.
The trouble is because everything is white its hard to pick out the details!
Anyway, here is what I did,
I started off with some white bazzill cardstock and used it for matting my photos and for the background.
I then used some home made paste (I will share the recipe later) and a Prima honeycomb mask and I masked up the four corners of the page. I was quite pleased with the results as the honeycomb came out really well.
I adhered a large doily and added the photos.
Then I die cut three small retro hearts and three small butterflies plus a larger butterfly.
I made a scalloped border (unfortunately you cant really see it, and  stuck that down. I used some ric rak in white on top and I painted some holey border in white for another border.
I then started to add my flowers and pearls, and a hand made stick pin in white pearls.
I added a title and the date and there you have it, an all white page. Why not give it a try. See sketch below.

Here are some close ups

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great week end. This is what I did on Saturday!
This layout was inspired by a sketch from Once Upon A Sketch - October and a challenge over at the Flying Unicorn to use black, red, a chippie and no pretty papers. So here is how I did it;
I matted my photo in some red bazzill cardstock and used the red for the background.
I then used a template to cut out my black card and used a white sakura gell pen to put the faux stitching on.
I adhered this to the red background card and cut out two other matts, one in white and one in red.
I used a Prima brick stamp and stamped on two peices of white card-stock and adhered these to the corners of the red card matts.  I adhered all this to my black shaped card and added the matted photo.
I then die cut some chipboard and cardstock using a tim holtz clock die and stuck these down. I added the clock hands with a carnation brad.
I filled in the centre of the clock with white flowers. I added more white flowers to the opposite side and added pearls.
I made a small vine & added some green leaves. I added two little buttons and three mini roses.
I then attached a black zip with glue. I have been wanting to add a zip to a page for ages as I have a box full of them and it just seemed to work here. I added the title using a sticker and thats it  page done.
See details below.

Hi everyone, yay its Friday, where did the week go?
Here is a layout I had fun with, I used the C.S.I Case File no. 39 along with Once Upon A Sketch for my inspiration. These colours are so summery together.
So I chose my papers first and then matted my photo.
I chose orange for the background cardstock and gutted the centre so I could make another layer which I matted onto some blue Bazzill.
I found a lovely greeny/blue paper which I used for the backing that I hand- cut using a template and some wiggly scissors, which I then inked.
With my background all ready, I started to embellish.
First I made the concertina flower using a tim holtz die, then added a button to the centre.
I then added more flowers, some leaves (from the C.S.I freebies), and some skeleton leaves.
I added a small journalling block from the freebies also- (expand your horizons).
I then added a tim holtz die cut swirl and one of my stick pins.
I then added some blue and yellow flowers to the other side, some brads, a pearl and some tags from the freebie set.
I cut out a lovely little bird from the set and punched out a little frond for its beak.
I painted some picket fence with crackle paint in white and added this for the bird to sit on.
I found some blue hessian netting and crinkled this up and glued it down.
I hid some shells in amongst the netting.
I added some journalling and some butterflies, with hand made beaded bodies.
I then added the title using some alpha stickers. Hope you like it and give it a go. See below for details.
